ARTICLE 1: GENERAL TERMS
These general terms and conditions/house rules apply to all agreements between Amsterdam Boxing Gym and the person using the facilities of Amsterdam Boxing Gym (hereinafter referred to as “the member” or “the members”).

Amsterdam Boxing Gym reserves the right to refuse members in case of misuse of the membership system or the facilities.
The use of additional facilities, such as bar and lounge area, does not confer any rights. In case of lack of or malfunctioning of these facilities, no refund of subscription fees will be provided.
By registering, the member declares to be familiar with and accept the general terms and conditions and house rules of Amsterdam Boxing Gym.
Amsterdam Boxing Gym is entitled to unilaterally amend the general terms and conditions / house rules. Amended terms apply to both new and existing members. Amsterdam Boxing Gym will inform members in advance of any changes.
The confidential advisor is appointed to provide a safe and confidential environment for discussing personal or sensitive matters and operates independently within the organization.

ARTICLE 2: REGISTRATION, MEMBERSHIP, PAYMENT & CANCELLATION
Registration is done at the reception desk. Upon registration, a valid form of identification (passport, ID card, or driver’s license) must be presented if requested.
The member receives an email which serves both as confirmation of their registration and as an automatic agreement to the terms and conditions.
Membership starts on the date of registration as stated under “start date of membership”. The membership fee is collected in advance.
If you become a member during the month, it will be prorated based on the remaining days of that month.
Mid-term cancellations of the membership are not possible.
Single lessons and class passes must be paid in full in cash or by card before use.
If no cancellation is made, yearly contracts will automatically convert to a monthly cancelable subscription after the contract period.

In case of overdue payment, where the member claims to have already canceled, the confirmation email must be shown. In the absence of this, the collection agency will handle further proceedings.
Amsterdam Boxing Gym reserves the right to terminate a membership in case of serious or repeated violation of the house rules or other unacceptable behavior.
From the moment the member is in default, all overdue and yet-to-be-paid installments become immediately due.
Absence of the member does not exempt the member from payment obligations and does not entitle the member to reduction of fees.
Amsterdam Boxing Gym reserves the right to adjust membership fees in January and July of the year based on inflation and indexation figures.
No rights can be derived from promotions or special offers.
You can choose to pay all due installments for the entire contract period at once, or in equal monthly installments.
You are required to ensure receipt of emails and maintain the account from which Amsterdam Boxing Gym is authorized to collect.
We have outsourced the collection of subscription fees to Recurrence B.V., trading under the name dockdock, Hoofdweg 252 (2908 LC) Capelle aan den IJssel, Chamber of Commerce number 97129518. You will therefore not receive correspondence regarding the subscription fees from us, but from dockdock.
dockdock may refuse to provide its services to us, for example if it expects difficulties in collecting the installments assigned to it. To enable dockdock to make such an assessment, you will provide information about yourself to dockdock via iDIN. This information concerns data required by dockdock for the administration and collection of the subscription fees owed by you. By entering into a subscription with us, you also consent, for the benefit of dockdock, to us providing this data to dockdock and to dockdock and its affiliated companies using this data for the administration and collection of the subscription fees owed by you, as well as for credit management and verification purposes. Furthermore, this data may be used by dockdock (and/or its affiliated companies) for quality research, the development of statistical models aimed at segmenting collection portfolios in order to further optimize collection results, the assessment of payment risk (conducting credit scoring/creditworthiness checks), and the prevention, detection and combating of fraud and other irregularities.
The records of dockdock, whether or not including our own records, shall be presumed to be accurate for the purpose of determining your payment obligation. However, you are entitled to provide evidence to the contrary.
If any provision of these payment terms is null and void or voidable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
Contribution will be debited around the 23rd of the month.
Terminating the membership prematurely is generally not possible. Only in exceptional circumstances can Amsterdam Boxing Gym decide to accept premature termination at its sole discretion.

Use of information is entirely at your own risk.
All materials including design, layout, graphics and appearance are owned or licensed to Amsterdam Boxing Gym.

ARTICLE 4: LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall Amsterdam Boxing Gym, its affiliates, or licensors be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the website or services.
The use of equipment and participation in any training or activities is entirely at the member’s own risk.
Amsterdam Boxing Gym is not liable for damage, loss, or theft of property.
Members are liable for damage caused due to negligence or fault.
ARTICLE 5: PERSONAL TRAINING AND GROUP CLASSES
Participants of group classes are not assigned to a specific trainer.
Personal training sessions are by appointment.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Late cancellations will be considered completed sessions.
For severe injuries or illness, membership may be suspended after consultation.
If no trainer replacement is available, payments and sessions will be suspended.
ARTICLE 6: LINKS TO OTHER SITES
Amsterdam Boxing Gym is not responsible for the content of linked websites.
ARTICLE 7: CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Amsterdam Boxing Gym reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
ARTICLE 8: GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by Dutch law.
Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of The Netherlands.
